Message-ID: <208@evtprp0b.UUCP> Date: 30 Aug 90 18:53:37 GMT Sender: tea6219@evtprp0b.UUCP Organization: Boeing Computer Services Everett Propulsion, Everett WA Lines: 14 I currently have a 16Mhz 386SX clone, to which I would like to add more memory. The memory chips I now have are rated at 80ns. I want to add a memory card (such as an Intel Aboveboard) and I want to know if 80ns chips are required on the card. If the bus speed is only 8Mhz, couldn't I use slower chips without inserting "arteficial" wait-states? I am not a h/w person, so any help would be greatly appreciated. |----------------------------------------------------------------| |Terry Acker | |Boeing Commercial Airplanes ....uunet!bcstec!evtprp0b!tea6219 | |M/S 03-87, P.O.
