I have an IBM PC AT with the standard 30 meg HD. The system POST routines show no errors when booting up. But, I get the DOS error message "Invalid drive specification" when trying to access the C drive. Using the Setup program I get an
error message on test 1700 of "1701".
 
Any ideas on the cause...even a low level formatter cannot format the drive.
