	I doubt these models had much to do with it. HP seems to have
decided that, in the laserjet market at least, they will set the pace.
With the Laserjet III now widely available for $1600 or less, and NEW
Laserjet IIs available as closeouts for ~$1200, the used market for
older laser printers shows the effect.
