I created a 1-page document on an SE at home, previewed it, and everything looked fine. Then, I printed it at school from a II. It came out teeny tiny, like maybe 10% or 15% normal size. I then created a new document on the II, copied over the styles and the content from the SE file, and printed it out. It printed out fine. Well, almost all of the replies I have received so far suggested things like page setup, printer selection, laserwriter file versions, etc. After some double-checking, I am sure that the page setup, etc is identical between the two files. I also tried other files. Additionally, I'm not comparing the output from the two machines --- I did not print the file from the SE, just the II. So, rephrased, the problem is: Why does a file created on an SE print from a II at about 10% normal size, when an identical file (setup and content) prints normally? Configurations: SE II Memory 4M 5M Rom 256K, ver. 118, rev. 1 256K, ver. 120, rev. 1 System 6.0.5 6.0.2 Multifinder 6.0.5 6.0.1 LaserWriter N/A 5.2 Thanks for any and all information that everyone has/will give. -- Michael Stiber stiber@cs.ucla.edu UCLA Computer Science Dept. ...{ucbvax,ihpn4}!ucla-cs!stiber Machine Perception Laboratory 3564 Boelter Hall,Los Angeles, CA 90024
