Message-ID: <1990Sep1.160851.1018@mdcbbs.com> Date: 1 Sep 90 23:08:51 GMT Organization: McDonnell Douglas M&E, Cypress CA Lines: 21 Has anyone been able to hook up a CDR-35 (NEC CDROM) to a SCSI port along with a hard drive? The (ob)structions point out that the CDROM has to be *before* the hard drive (in other words the hard drive must be on the end). Unfortunately, the CDR-35 has only *one* 50 pin connector. I can get my hard drive to work (two SCSI ports) by itself, and the CDROM works by itself but when I daisy chain them together the system refuses to see the hard drive. The CDROM is hard coded to address 1. I tried the hard disk at addresses 0, 2, and 6 (no luck). Please respond via E-mail and I'll summarize to the net. Thank you very much! -- Harrison M.
