Look for a resource of type 'eadr' in the System file. The ID will be zero if you are on a Mac without slots, or the slot number of the ethernet card if your Mac has slots (Note: the SE/30 "thinks" it has a NuBus as far as driver software goes). This resource contains the ethernet address. Change with ResEdit and reboot, and you should be all set. Tim Smith
