I am sorry, but it is your imagination. At work we regularly deal with Stuffit and PKZip archives, and compressing the same file (the SAME file) with either program results in the stuffit archive being smaller.....and of course any timings on speed can not be stated, as there is a far difference in architecture between an 030 Mac and a 386 IBM.
