They are not abandoning the format, since it is the history of the product and at this time is the 'industry standard' for public archives. This is a VERY important issue to the net, and to users at large, and it needs to be resolved. I do think, however, that there is a difference between trying to raise issues and being a stubborn goat. I am listening to everything you that you say, and am in daily contact with Aladdin discussing what I see here.
