GNUplot looks like a really nice plotting package from the free software 
foundation.

Has anyone had a go at trying to compile it using Think C for the Mac?

I have had a couple of attempts, but no success as yet.

For that matter, has anyone tried to convert ANY of the FSF's programs to a 
Mac format?

I realize that FSF does not like Apple for some reason or other, but that 
should not be any reason that us users should suffer--
