I've talked to Tom Williams of Gnuplot, and he says that a Mac
implementation is underway.   This was some time ago, so maybe
it's near completion by now. 

You could probably write pixar!info-gnuplot@sun.com
for more information.

By the way, I don't think Gnuplot has anything to do with FSF.
I believe they have a disclaimer to that effect.
