Message-ID: Date: 4 Sep 90 12:04:40 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Distribution: comp Lines: 15 Hello, I'm trying to get GCC to write dbx symbols into .o files (i.e. implement the -g option). Is there any way to do it through assembly or must I create a .o file which contains only a names section and merge it by "ld -r"? If it matters, I'm using a Personal Iris 4D/25 (Super) and 4D/20 (Entry). Please reply by e-mail to "amoss@batata.huji.ac.il". Thanks in advance, Amos Shapira amoss@batata.huji.ac.il
