I have a 3/160 and a 3/260, one of which is to be upgraded to a 4/3xx. The upgrade paths are 3/160 --> 4/370 swaps enclosure, CPU & memory boards (List 26900) 3/260 --> 4/360 swaps CPU & memory boards (List 9800) If the 4/370 and 4/360 are equivalent except for the enclosure, then the 4/360 is the way to go. However, there is no official upgrade path from the 4/360 whereas the 4/370 can go to a 4/470. Are there limitations to the 4/360 like power supply, or mechanical specs that would prevent it from also going to a 4/470 ? I'm asking the net since my Sun salesperson has been tough to reach recently. Thanks for any help you can give. Paul Ning U.S. mail : P.O. Box 9738 Dept. of Elec. Engr.
