Eberhard Mattes has just released a new version of his excellent emTeX
package; UK readers who have access to JANET file transfer facilities
will probably find it easiest to collect the files from  the Aston TeX
archive. details below. *this is NOT an internet ftp site*. anonymous
ftp people should look on terminator.cc.umich.edu. 

Existing users will be glad to see such goodies as:
 tex 3.0 / mf 2.0
 virtual font support in the drivers
 deskjet support
