(tape achieve error). The regional Apple office graciously loaded my disk with the new version of A/UX.(100 mile sprint ) Neato!! My (initial ) problem is that I can't get the "lp" system to print anything. The initial setup had an iw2 as the printer. I did a RM_PR iw2 to get rid of the existing printer and then tried ADD_LW myprinter tty1. When I try the lp command lpstat shows the file as printing but the laserwriter does not "blink" and nothing happens. I can print from mac apps and lpr does work and the atprinter command works. Can any one tell me how I have screwed up and what I can do to get the lp stuff working? (I really want to use enscript...) All I have is the Installation Kit and the version 1.0 manuals. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Jerry LeVan | Phone:(606)-622-1931 | | Department of Computer Science | | | Eastern Kentucky University | Email:matlevan@eku.bitnet | | Richmond Ky 40475 | | |---------------------------------------------------------------------------| | "The series converges so slowly that it actually diverges." | -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
