In order that the Sequent be able to read my tapes, should I use cpio -c, backup or tar format? I have one opportunity, so I need to select the method most likely to succeed. I have created AIX tapes in cpio -c format that I have been able to read on AIX 1.1 (PS/2) and SCO Xenix ('286 clone), and think this may be the best, unless someone out there knows otherwise. Thanks for your help.
