I would like to know what the fastest possible speed over normal un-
conditioned telephone line is. I have a hayes v-series 9600 modem but can't
get the host modem to go that high.  Both modems are identical.  I have been
told thanormal voice lines will only carry data at 4800.  But I have seen
systems running higher.  Whats wrong...
