Stuart,

Your guess was correct.  There was a mismatch between olwm and the olgx
library.  Once I corrected my LD_LIBRARY_PATH var, things proceeded smoothly.

..but that error msg, "olgx Error:  Uninitialized ginfo".... can't we say
something like "olwm: Version of olgx library not compatible" at the very least?
