Without that it's quite difficult to know which window you are moving when the panner is small. - For tvtwm, please don't remove the "DontMoveOff" variable, it IS usefull, even with a virtual desktop. - and last but not least, a more general wish: for any X client, there should be an action (or a function for twm) that would exec a shell command (this often exists), along with a way for the subshell to get information about the application "state". Some examples: . For twm, context and window-id of the action that invoked the function . For xrn, current newsgroup, path of the current message displayed, ... this would make customization really easier!
