We will be looking at the "Me" model, which features a 1280x960, 19" screen, 4 grey scales, a 68030 w/ 2MB RAM, and software based on the Chorus kernel. Sounds pretty slick... They are! I had one of the Me's here on demo for a couple of weeks. Extremely nice. Make sure you get it with the R4 version of the software which is a lot faster and has the shape extension. It was robust, reliable, fast. Its network code even coped with the broken tcp/ip in my old 4.2 BSD! The drawbacks? Its not cheap. -- -- Lee McLoughlin phone: 071 589 5111 X 5037 fax: 071 581 8024 Department of Computing, Imperial College, 180 Queens Gate, London SW7 2BZ, UK Janet: lmjm@uk.ac.ic.doc Uucp: lmjm@icdoc.UUCP (or ..!ukc!icdoc!lmjm) DARPA: lmjm@doc.ic.ac.uk (or lmjm%uk.ac.ic.doc@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk)
