I am interested in grad schools in both Canada and the United States. I am currently registered as a part-time M.Sc. student and I would like to transfer to another school. Unfortunately, I did not find out enough information about the department I am currently registered in and that has lead to near disaster! I feel that it is very important to talk to grad students registered in a specific department in order to gain insight that might not be provided in a campus tour or departmental brochure. I would be grateful if you would provide an overall opinion of departmental facilities, financial compensation (teaching assistantships, stipends, etc.), faculty supervisors (academic qualifications *AND* personality) and student life in general (recreational activities, etc.). Please reply by e-mail (to ensure privacy) with the subject: For Maria as I am posting from my boyfriend's account. It would be great if you could provide information regarding the application procedure (such as a school address) with your reply. I will be happy to provide information about my department to anyone interested. Maria
