The Antenna Specialists Co. manufactures M-906 that looks like a 
cellular antenna (pig tail coil).  While these look cute, remember that
any shortening from a standard 1/4 wave mobile will reduce the radiation
resistance of the antenna and of course the radiated power drops 
dramatically due to the drop in efficiency.  This means output power
is MUCH lower than with a longer antenna.  Talk distance is less.
