Yes, it can carry one. The M-1 weighs 60 tons and it's quite wide as well. No other US aircraft can carry one. Considering, however, the limited number of C-5As, the ability to carry an M-1 Abrams doesn't buy us much. To practically move a significant armoured force, we need to rely on sea lift.
