I am particularly interested in their Dealta II Floating Point Processor with the hope that it will help to accelerate Neural Net training and running which easily run into days or even weeks using 100% software simulated on 386 PC with co-processor in my applications. Comments on their product ANSPEC (An Actor Oriented Environment for PDP Specification) with respect to its ease of use and valu-for-money would also be appreciated. I am requesting for any comments because of the asking price of the above system. They are asking for approx. US$30K for educational institution. The bottom line is, is it more worthwhile investing in a workstation for the money? Thank you in advance for any response.
