We've written a print server here at the UW, it's quite reliable, but does have a few drawbacks: 1. Runs as a dedicated print server, no TSR. 2. Doesn't do banners (it will some day). 3. Is edu-ware (free to educational institutions, not for use by commercial folks). There are some interesting features: Handles parallel & serial printers, can transfer jobs from one queue to another. Can service many fileservers with a single printer. If you'd like a copy, you can get one via anonymous FTP. The server is rodan.acs.syr.edu (thanks to my good friends at syracuse!). The file is UWUTILS.UUE or UWUTILS.EXE. It's a self extracting archive with a number of programs written here that might be of interest to Novell administrators. If you do start to use the software, please send me a note. We like to know what people think about it.
