Does CCITT already have some standard for multispeed (9600, 4800, 2400,
1200, 300 etc) modem handshake?

Asking because there is a funny modem family made by Nokia which sends the
V32 and V22bis handshake tones at the same time, and this tends to f?ck up
pretty many modems of other brands.
