Basically, I have several dumb terminals that communicate to a host (Unix system) via a multiplexor. The mux is only eight channels, but I'd like more than eight terminals. Users should be able to log in on a first-come, first-serve basis. I do not have the option of adding more channels to the mux since the computer has no space left for any more physical ports.
