I'm trying to figure out if emacs will delete auto-save files if I exit emacs without saving all my buffers. In other words, the only time I want auto-save files left after an emacs session is if the system crashes, or for some reason I am disconnected from the system (modem failure, power outage, etc.) Is this possible? I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer. Jim Barbour -- System Administrator -- University of Colorado, Computing and Networking Services HP workstartion laboratory
