The rapid growth of newer technologies in imaging applications in the past decade, especially in areas such as Magnetic Resonance Imag- ing,has opened new avenues for the applications of such technolo- gies in medicine. The objective of this session is to focus on such issues. This session includes, but is not restricted to, topics such as * Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) * CT and SPECT Imaging * Nuclear medical Imaging * Ultra-sound Imaging * 2-D and 3-D segmentation methods * Current issues in Volume rendering * Object matching from multiple modalities * Current issues in PACS Prospective authors should submit a short abstract (less than 700 words) on or before December 15, 1990. Authors will be noti- fied of acceptance before January 15, 1991. Photo-ready papers should be submitted on or before March 31, 1991.
