Message-ID: <11892@chaph.usc.edu> Date: 9 Sep 90 21:59:43 GMT Sender: news@chaph.usc.edu Followup-To: comp.lang.c Organization: University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA Lines: 18 Nntp-Posting-Host: aludra.usc.edu Originator: ajayshah@aludra.usc.edu I'm a ``good'' programmer who's been bitten by the OOP bug and am comparing tp5.5 vs. c++ for the purpose. I thought having a good class library for starters would be useful both as a base for work and as instructive reading of source, learning-by-imitating. Can you suggest your favourite class library along with general opinions and cost info? The areas of interest are databases, user interfaces and statistical computing. Thanks, -ans. -- _______________________________________________________________________________ Ajay Shah, (213)747-9991, ajayshah@usc.edu The more things change, the more they stay insane. _______________________________________________________________________________
