It is very unlikely that anyone knows the answer to that question. 
(outside of HP Test engineers, and maybe not even them). I
bought my IIP last fall when they first came out (not quite a year ago)
and it is showing no signs of wear. The life of the printer cartidge
seems at least comparable to the regular series II, although it is rated
for less pages before the toner wears out.
