I have an IBM PC/AT compatible, and have recently acquired an IBM 5224-2
printer. Of course, i would like to interface the two. The problem is in the     
fact that the printer is a twinax device, designed to be used with IBMs
system 3x / AS400 computers. 


I have located an interface for this through a "Black Box Corp" in Pittsburgh,
PA, however they ask $1395 for it. Although this does seem to be a very good
printer and all, i obviously still find $1395 completely outrageous and out of
the question. 


My request is for information on where I could get an interface, but at a 
substantially lower cost. 

I would appreciate that (preferably), but if that is not available, some form
of tech notes on the subject could also be helpful
