I thought I could write a few nifty software effects like arpeggiators and such like, but I install it (on a Mac Plus with system 6.0.3) and the demonstration programs do little besides locking up the machine when I try to quit them. Could it be that the programs are trash? Do the software drivers actually work? Could it be my wonderful DX27's "active sensing" messages which come out every 200ms? It's all very puzzling, and the software seems less than robust in any case. If anyone has made any of it work, I'd like to hear from you. Kraig Eno, kraig@biostr.washington.edu
