It is a very simple straightforward newsbatch receive/send program suite for end nodes. If that is all you opt for, ask Fred van Kempen (waltje@minixug.hobby.nl). His system (The NLMug machine minixug) runs B-news 2.11, as far as I known without glitches. I have a slightly newer version that works flawlessly. Once again (all together now) ask Fred van Kempen. Fred van Kempen has been very busy (and still is) to get these packages like wmail (=mailx), umail (=rmail), wnews (=news) and uucp (=uucp) together. Wmail has seen a very thorough cleanup, umail and uucp are now being worked upon, and wnews is in development.
