Keywords: floppy Message-ID: <2695@unccvax.uncc.edu> Date: 10 Sep 90 00:09:40 GMT Organization: University of NC at Charlotte Lines: 18 Thanks to everyone's suggestions I was able to get minix to read all 1.44Mb of my 3.5" drives.... It was very simple. The device just needed to be created with the proper name (PS1), blocksize, and minor device number. Someone referred me to p. 398 (the description of mkfs). I used a prototype file to specify the blocksize.: dev d--755 2 1 PS1 b--644 2 1 2 29 1440 Thankyee, Thankyee, Thankyee... -- .--------------------------. ... |On the border of your mind lies a place |uunet!mcnc!unccvax!cs00chs| (") |where dreams and reality are one...I will `--------------------------'-w-U-w-|take you there, for I am the subject... \%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\%\|the subject of your imagination. -Aldo Nova
