Wiskunde & Informatica, VU, Amsterdam Lines: 22 I have been asked to explicitly answer the question of what happened to the PC and AT versions. The old scheme (640K for PC and 512K for AT) led to endless problems. People constantly got the wrong version. I solved it in a crude way: The 5.25" set has 3 boot disks (PC, AT, and BIOS). The 3.5" has those three and one more (for those PS/2s with an ST506 controller). Thus there is no longer a PC set and an AT set. One size fits all. (The downside of this is that with 17 disks and a 700 page manual, PH had to raise the price; the manufacturing cost is simply much higher than with the 1.3 slipcase version at $116 or the 1.1 disk-only version at $80.) To answer a not-yet asked question, PH is not going to bring out any other variants (disk without manual, manual with disks, other sizes, formats, etc.). Let's see if they can get this one right.
