I have quickly found out that some modems do not like the attempt to set up an MNP protocol. I am currently using Procomm Plus. The problem is that there is no way for me to have a particular entry in the dialer set the modem's MNP on or off (a linked script file is only called AFTER connection.) Are there any other communications programs out there that let you send special initializations to the modem BEFORE dialing? Is there a sneaky way to do this in Procomm Plus??
