If not, I know you can do this with the seperate dial strings in Telix. The key is to have your prefix set to some modem commands instead of a number. Your dial command is still "AT", but you would set up to prefixes to turn on and off the MNP5 or V42. In the case of an ATI 2400etc modem the prefix to turn it on would be "&Q6&U1" and the prefix to turn it off would be "&Q0&U0". Your terminal program should send out the sequence which might translate to AT&Q0&U0987-6543 which would turn MNP5/V.42 off and dial the number. I hope this helps.
