Does anyone have got a description of the hardware of a DeskJet+ RAM module (128 or 256 kb). Or a description of the pins of the two 40 pin connectors. The information that I have is, that the original RAM module contain static RAMs (62256/43256 perhaps). So the glue logic shouldn't be too difficult. A cheaper approach would be simply two mega-chip 514256 with a certainly more complex glue logic to build up an 256 kb RAM module. The essential supposition would be a REFRESH signal at the 40 pin connector. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jochen Loewer internet s_loewer@irav1.ira.uka.de bitnet uk6d@dkauni2.bitnet --------------------------------------------------------------------
