Could someone who has this duo of hardware please assist? What should pin pairs 12 and 13 on the Adaptec aha 1542 SCSI host adapter be set to in order to get maximum performance out of the Seagate ST296N SCSI drive? Other info: computer is a dtk 386sx at 16 Mhz under DOS 4.01 One more question: when I was using the ST02 host adapter, I had 84 megs. After reformatting with the 1542's bios utilities, I had 79. Is this normal? Anyhow, please reply directly to me, so as to minimize net traffic.
