The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved the SCSI-2
standard (ANSI X3.131-1990) on August 31, 1990.  This standard revises
ANSI X3.131-1986, commonly referred to as SCSI or SCSI-1.

It will be some time before you can actually buy an official copy
of SCSI-2 from ANSI as it takes time to publish a 600-page document.
In the meantime, you can purchase a committee draft from Global
Engineering Documents (800-854-7179 or 714-261-1455).
