The Open Book is generally regarded as one of the better works on OSI,
in particular since it is from an implementor's (and Internet) perspective.
The book tends to evoke various strong reactions from either "side of the
fence." See in particular "Book Reviews" in ConneXions, Volume 3, No. 11,
November 1989, and "Alternative Book Review" in ConneXions, Volume 4, No. 9,
September 1990, for "opposing views."
