This applies to the NCSA programs themselves (telnet and ftp) and also to the included lpr/lpq package. NCSA can now also use RARP with packet drivers. PCPOP, another package which uses the NCSA TCPIP code, does not yet seem to use the b10 code, although NCSA b10 is included in their latest package. But both solved problems are still in their program. I also observed the problem with a NDIS driver echoing back ARP broadcasts to the sender, but only with the Western Digital NDIS driver. Several 3COM drivers don't show that behaviour. Btw, when I recently looked into FTP Software's ftp-archive at vax.ftp.com, I found the NDIS-packet driver in pub/packet.driver.old, and not in pub/packet.driver. The latter directory contained only the latest packet driver collection v7 from Clarkson university. Bug or feature ... :-) ?
