Can someone recommend a few books or other sources for compression algorithms,
and evaluations of compression algorithms, useful for the type of data
stored on disks (that is, NOT video compression), such as executables,
data base files, etc.  Information on the algorithms used by programs
like PKZIP would be very useful.  Thanks!
