Unfortunately none of them seemed to apply so I deleted the .lzh files I'd made, re-built them and re-transferred them, and they worked! BTW, I don't think it was an ascii vs. binary transfer problem like somebody else suggested. I compared the size of the old lharc file and it was SMALLER than the newer, correct version. If the initial transmission had been doing text conversion, the CR->CRLF change should have made the first (corrupted) file larger. Oh well, the same day a print job I submitted on a different host only had the odd-numbered (front) pages printed. Bizarre.
