You could make an iconx script to do it automatically before entering AMAX. (SetAmiga (SetPrefs) is on fish 157 and lets you make a library of system-configuration files which it can recall at an instance) Or as a second solution: I have written a little program in Lightspeed C which lets you change the colors AMAX uses. I'd like to make the program a desk accessory or, better for your use, an Init, but I don't know how. -Vince
