Message-ID: <9009060603.AA19567@noc.arc.nasa.gov> Date: 6 Sep 90 06:03:40 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Saotome Ryu School of Martial Arts. Lines: 22 I have a 2090a controller and a Syquest 44meg harddisk. In booting up, the 2090a attempts to read the Syquest after the internal Quantum is read. After booting up, I get an icon for drive "DH2:", but there's nothing there. I will assume the 2090a sees the Syquest on boot-up, and attempts to find an OFS partition on the Syquest, and assigns an icon for it. In order to disable the autobooting of the Syquest, do I flip a switch on the 2090a, or move the drive to another unit assignment (it's unit 0 now), like 1,2,3,etc... Thanks. -- Robert Michael Gutierrez Office of Space Science and Applications, NASA Science Internet - Network Operations Center. Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California.
