I need to raise the max number of processes on a machine. Well you'r best guess is to get OS10.3 since the max number of process is really hardwired deep down in Aegis. I know it a nuisance but 64 is really the maximum, and then you have to give away at least 8 to the OS. But Apollo/Hp promissed that a largen number was going to be implemented is OS10.3 which was/is due this month. I'm also banging my head against this limit: My(Our) gateway is really loaded with all kinds of deamons and servers. The user on the display sometimes has to wait for a free entry to execute a simple process.
