Hi there,

We would like here (1200 users) to run a statistical tool in order to
know the following things :

  - How many sheets a user print in a month.
  - Which group is the biggest "paper-eater".
  - Which printer is the most used.
  - Stop a user to print when his "quota" is exceeded.
  - In a word we want to run a real "print-accounting".
  - etc,etc ...

So before doing everything ( How lazy im I ! ) I would like
to know : 

  - If somebody has attempted to do something like this.
  - If it has a chance to work one of this days.
  - If there is some "secretes" routines to manage that kind
    of job in the prflib or in the OS.                             

We use ONLY PostScrit printers ( TI 2115 ) and we are running
10.1,10.2/BSD4.3.

We use the apollo "prf" command and DON'T want to user lpd for 
several reasons.
