Its subject would be the Network Computing System (NCS) by Apollo (HP/Apollo). NCS: NCS is the OSF's choice for its Remote Procedure Call (RPC) interface, and is available for various platforms (It is native to the Apollos and comes with their Domain/OS). The group: The group would probably be called comp.protocols.ncs, comp.protocols.rpc.ncs, or comp.rpc.ncs, and it would be unmoderated. It would be a forum for the discussion of NCS in terms of: 1. The OSF's choice of NCS. 2. The future of NCS. 3. Programming under NCS and NIDL. 4.
