Lines: 17 Keywords:apollo, emacs, pty, X I've managed (finally!) to get GNU emacs 18.55 to compile at Apollo sr10.1 with Leonard Zubkoff's 10.2 patches, but haven't been able to get around the bug with the pseudo-ttys with X that stops input being echoed to the slave pty until you move the mouse pointer out of the slave window. I know this topic cropped up a fair while back, but I can't remember if it got solved or not. Does anyone have a fix/workaround for this? We don't want to go to 10.2 for (ahem) various reasons. This is for 68k apollos running MIT X11r4. bob ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- bob nutter, computer officer | "A grey-haired old woman who UMIST dept of computation | has become mentally unstable" po box 88 manchester m60 1qd uk | -Astute Iraqi comment on our tel:+44 61 200 3386 | Glorious Leader Thatcher email:b.nutter@umist.ac.uk |
